ABOUT DEATH BY FUDGE

Behind the Counter

Hi everyone! My name is Rosie and this is my partner Scott and my two little professional taste testers, Eli and Milo! 

​

Death By Fudge was created in October 2020, while we were exiting lockdown from the pandemic. What was intended to be a little side business, to perhaps make an extra £20 or £30 a weekend, quickly grew into something much bigger. 

​

It wasn't long until other businesses were asking to stock our fudge, and with the help of Christmas and our first ever Christmas Selection Box, our audience grew uncontrollably. We went on to host a market stall at a couple of events in Doncaster and we quickly realised we had outgrew our tiny kitchen at home. 

​

In July 2021, we visited Epworth to drop off some samples to a potential new stockist, and that's when we saw a vacant shop on the corner of the High Street. Although opening an actual shop had never crossed our mind, the opportunity appeared to be too good to pass up on and here we are! 

​

We've loved every moment in the shop so far, and at the end of March 2022, Scott is left his full time job of 14 years to come and join me full time. 

​

Shortly after that we discovered a spot in Rossington near Doncaster (where we actually live) and once again fell in love with the thought of having a shop a little bit closer to home. In August 2022 we closed our Epworth store and reopened just 3 weeks later in our new home. We now have a member of staff and still manage to attend 2-3 events with our pop up stall every week!
